…(Fort Lauderdale, FL) Saturday, February 19, 2011 from 9pm-2am The Auteur Explosion holds the 15th installment at Cinema Paradiso, 503 SE 6 Street in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
Talent ranges the gamut of art’s genres and audiences are submerged with live music, art, special performances and short films by local talent.
This event’s theme is GIRLPOWER, hence the name “Vive la Femme” and features all female artists, band front-women, belly-dance performers, chic filmmakers, and will be hosted by local artist & actress extraordinaire, Samantha Leah Shiff.
General admission is only $5 to attend. There is no cost to artists featuring their work and new talent interested in becoming part of the event should contact Dawn Dubriel at info@redawn.tv

They anticipate their acceptance and screening. We’ll keep you posted on the status.
The group has also started a new short film contest for the locals!!!

They anticipate about adding 30-40 more short films a year to Florida’s growing demo reel, bringing Hollywood to South Florida is right around the corner.
Their first contest is under the theme: “A NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION” is the theme. Check it out and submit if you are interested. The contest screening will take place at the Downtown Boca Film Festival on April 17th in the Movies of Delray.
